Ex GIPC boss chair new board
A former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Mr Kwasi Abeasi has been appointed the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the GIPC.
The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who inaugurated the 10-member board for the centre on January 17 in Accra charged members of the board to diligently undertake their task to help the government realise its industrialisation agenda.
Other members of the board
Other members of the board who were sworn into office by the President include, the Chief Executive Officer Officer of the GIPC, Mr Yofi Grant, the first Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG), Mr Maxwell Opoku- Afairi, the acting Director –General of the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC), Dr Grace A. Bediako, and the deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah.
The rest include , the deputy Minister of Finance, Mr Kwaku Agyeman Kwarteng, the CEO of the Private Enterprise Federation (PEF), Nana Osei-Bonsu and Mr Alex Apau Dadey.
Madam Nora Bannerman-Abbott and Dame Dr Mrs Cecilia A. Kwofie with both serve as members of the board.
