Fidelity holds second ‘Save for Gold’ draw

Fidelity Bank has announced a batch of 17 customers as winners of the second draw of the ‘Save for Gold’ promotion.

Held in Tamale in the Northern Region, winners included Mr Abbeam Ampomah Danso of the Kasoa branch, Mr Kwame Banahene Boateng of the Suame branch, Mr Chun Ming Gao of the Ridge Tower branch, Mr Baba Ibrahim of the Mamobi branch, Mr Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ani of the Tamale branch and Mr Robert Andrews of the Effiakuma branch.

Messrs Danso and Boateng will receive three and two gold coins respectively as the first and second prizes. The other 15 winners will each take home a Fidelity gold coin.

Addressing the ceremony, the Managing Director of the bank, Mr Edward Effah, stated the bank’s commitment to rewarding customers each month till the end of the promotion in 2016.

“Fidelity Bank, a truly Ghanaian financial institution, is poised to bring gold closer to the people of Ghana. Since gold forms part of our cultural heritage, it makes sense to help Ghanaians own it. As we gradually approach the Christmas season which coincides with our promo, we are pleased to reward our lucky customers with gold prizes. I congratulate tonight’s winners and I will urge customers to continue saving with us as there are three more monthly draws and a grand draw slated for the next four months,” Mr Effah said.

The MD called on Ghanaians to bank with Fidelity for superb services and financial assistance for their businesses.

He used the occasion to express his gratitude to the people of the Northern Region for doing business with the bank over the years and gave the assurance that the bank would continually roll out products and services to meet the ever-changing needs of customers.

Background

Launched in August, 2015, the Save for Gold promotion is a six-month campaign aimed at encouraging the habit of saving  among customers, while rewarding them with gold prizes worth over GH¢500,000.

Seventeen lucky customers will be rewarded with gold prizes in five monthly draws. The sixth draw will reward the first three lucky customers with one kilogramme 24 carat, 500 gramme and 250 gramme gold bars respectively. Gold coins will also be given to the fourth to the 20th position winners.

In October, 2015, seventeen customers across 13 branches of the bank received gold prizes in the first draw organised in Kumasi.

The third monthly draw of the promotion will be held in December, 2015 to announce another 17 lucky winners.
