Ghana and South Korea sign visa waiver agreement for diplomatic, service passport holders

Ghana and South Korea have signed a Visa Waiver Agreement for holders of diplomatic and service passports, Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has announced.
The agreement was signed on the margins of the ongoing Africa-Korea Foreign Ministers Meeting .
Mr Ablakwa and his South Korean counterpart, Cho Hyun signed the agreement.
Mr Ablakwa noted that this is the first Visa Waiver Agreement between the two nations in almost 50 years of formal bilateral relations.
He said negotiations will continue to bring on board holders of ordinary passports.
