Fidelity promotes savings culture with ‘10x richer’ campaign
Fidelity Bank Ghana has launched a new campaign to encourage the habit of saving among Ghanaians. The campaign, which is dubbed “10x Richer” is to commemorate the bank’s 10th anniversary and also reward its customers.

The Managing Director of Fidelity Bank, Mr Jim Baiden, stressed the importance of saving and urged Ghanaians to cultivate and intensify that habit.
“This is because saving provides financial security and acts as a safety net in cases of emergency,” he stated.
“In the past, we have rewarded hundreds of our customers with the aim of encouraging the saving culture among Ghanaians,” he added.

The Fidelity 10x richer promotion, which is expected to run between June and November this year, gives customers the opportunity to win prizes for every GH¢500 or multiples that they deposit.
They are required to maintain the money in their accounts for at least a month.
The customers receive electronic coupons once they deposit funds and that would be entered into a draw at the end of the month.
Mr Baiden explained that at the end of each month, five lucky customers would have their coupon balances multiplied by 10. There will be five monthly draws and a grand draw at the end of the promotion.
In the grand draw, three lucky customers will have their coupon balances multiplied by 100 times. The bank has set aside cash prizes up to GH¢300,000.
The National Lotteries Authority will supervise the draws on its Caritas Lottery Platform.

“As we mark 10 years in business, it is only right that we recognise and reward our customers who have been with us throughout the journey. They are the reason we find ourselves here today,” Mr Baiden stated.
“We are, therefore, using this promotion to reward and celebrate them for their loyalty and also help them to save for future purposes, preparing for the unforeseen,” he said.
