International Advertising Association honour Prez Akufo-Addo
The International Advertising Association (IAA) has conferred on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo its highest honorary membership.
This was done at the second IAA Africa Leadership conference which opened in Accra on Monday.
The Minister of Information, Dr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid received the honorary membership on behalf of President Akufo-Addo.

The IAA Chairman and World President, Felix Tataru supported by the IAA Managing Director, Dagmera Szulce and the IAA Vice President for Development – Africa and Managing Director of MullenLowe Accra, Norkor Duah made the presentation.
Extolling his credentials, Norkor Duah said President Akufo-Addo was “a highly acclaimed and noble personality whose colourful political career and democratic credentials transcends beyond the borders of this nation and makes exemplary on the continent of Africa that echoes strongly in the corridors of the world.”
She said President Akufo-Addo has been a prominent champion of human rights, rule of law, justice, freedom and democracy in Ghana through his career as a lawyer and public figure in numerous positions.
Adding, she said he demonstrates the “rare qualities of wisdom, selflessness, determination, fairness and courage. He is a team builder and a team player who creatively discharges his duties.”
She said his remarkable statesmanship makes the distinction between a leader and a follower crystal clear.
“Mr President is a leader inclined to never say never attitude that culminates in his achievement of excellence. He has strong faith and an epitome of the Ghanaian saying, when the night is not yet set, one must not give up on God."

“President Akufo-Addo is a firm believer of Ghana’s development and the African continent and lays emphasis on education and women empowerment.
“President Akufo-Addo is a firm believer in the development agenda of Ghana and the African continent. He lays emphasis on education, industrialisation, women empowerment and other pillars to light it up.”
“In this respect, he has been acknowledged for spearheading the free senior second cycle education whilst promoting his vision of Ghana beyond aid aggressively.“

The gathering of current and future business leaders dubbed "Africa Rising" is on the theme: "Evolution of Brands and consumers: Reinvent or Die."
