MASLOC, MASLOC CEO honoured for business leadership & business sustainability

The CEO of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah, was crowned the Ultimate Woman of the Year and the state agency was recognized for championing business sustainability at the National Business Honours 2024.

The awards, presented at the Marriott Hotel in Accra, celebrated MASLOC's role in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through accessible credit products. The government agency's efforts have been instrumental in boosting the Ghanaian economy.

Hajia Zakariah's leadership has been lauded for its commitment to sustainable business practices and women's empowerment. 

Under her guidance, MASLOC has implemented initiatives promoting environmental responsibility and social impact, helping SMEs to thrive in a recovering economy.

The National Business Honours event brought together industry leaders to acknowledge and celebrate excellence in business.

The awards ceremony was a highlight of the National Business Week, a platform for networking, collaboration, and discussing key economic issues.
