MTN rewards 1,000 customers in Momo draw
MTN Mobile Money Financial Services has rewarded the first batch of 1,000 customers in its ongoing MoMo at 10 Consumer Promotion at a ceremony in Accra.
The ultimate winner, Mrs Rebecca Quaye, a trader, took home the first Hyundai i10 salon car while the rest won prizes such as cash and television sets.
Speaking at the prize presentation ceremony on July 9 in Accra, the General Manager of MTN Mobile Money Financial Services, Mr Eli Hini, stated that his company launched the anniversary last month to tell its story and the contribution it had made to make financial transactions very simple for its customers.

"We went round the entire 16 regions of Ghana to launch the anniversary and celebrate the successes of MTN MoMo with our customers.
Driving financial inclusion
He said MTN MoMo had made provision to reward 1,000 customers every month between June and August this year as it celebrates 10 years of driving financial inclusion and making life very simple for customers through activities aimed at promoting a cashless economy.
"We will be presenting 10 winners with Hyundai vehicles. Other winners will receive Samsung smart televisions and electronic cash of up to GH¢3,000.
"The promotion is point based and winners are expected to accumulate points during the month to win any of the prizes at stake.
“Subscribers can gain points by undertaking transactions from their wallet to merchants (via merchant IDs) for retail payments, transferring from their wallets to other wallets and using MoMo to purchase data and airtime, and bill payments.
"At the end of the month, we accumulate the points gained and reward the top point earners," the manager said.
