New Managing Director of Energy Bank calls on Asantehene

The new Managing Director (MD) of the Energy Bank Ghana Ltd, Mrs Christiana Ekaete Olaoye, has assured of the bank's continuous commitment to providing improved services to its customers; supporting their aspirations and coming out with innovative products to meet their growing needs.

Mrs Olaoye gave the assurance when she joined Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, to celebrate the Awukudae at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.

The occasion was also used by the Regional Manager of the bank, Mr Philip Afari, to officially introduce the new MD to Otumfuo.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, for his part, noted that the banks in the country would continue to be the source of capital for economic development.

Innovation

 He noted that in recent times, there had been intense competition in the banking industry and expressed the hope that all the players in that sector would take advantage of the phenomenon to devise innovative products to meet the growing and sophisticated needs of their customers. 

The MD was also accompanied by the bank’s Head of Foreign Operations, Mr Mark Fuachie-Sobreh; Mr Philip Afari; the Suame Branch Manager, Mr Jeff Owusu; Mr Atta Osei of the Internal Control Department and Mr Michael Gyabaah (Relationship Officer).
