Odotobri wins 2017 CIMG Rural Bank of the Year award
Odotobri Rural Bank Limited at Jacobu in the Ashanti Region has been adjudged the 2017 Rural Bank of the Year by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG).
The bank was selected out of the 140 rural banks in the country which were assessed in that highly competitive award category.
This is the third time the bank has won the award. Odotobri Rural Bank won the maiden edition of the same award when the rural banking category was included in the award scheme in 2012.
The award scheme which sought to acknowledge individuals and organisations for their marketing excellence and innovation attracted a number of companies and corporate institutions.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, Mr Siaka Baba Ahmed, said the bank through its award had proven beyond all possible doubt that it was gunning to become an accomplished giant in unit banking; a feat which has scored the bank more points in that award category.
He said the bank’s effort to provide convenience to its clientele through the provision of ATM and other e-services was resonating with customers who clamour daily for the bank’s services.
