President Mahama urges private sector job creation at KRIF product launch

President John Mahama has reiterated his administration's commitment to encourage private sector growth as a key driver of employment in Ghana.

Speaking on behalf of the President, head of research, statistics, and information management at the Office of the President, Ms Juliana Ama Kplorfia, at the product launch and exhibition organised by KRIF Ghana Limited in collaboration with Diplomat Safe of Korea, the President underscored the importance of private enterprises in shaping the nation’s economic future.

"I urge KRIF Ghana to remain steadfast in creating opportunities within the private sector. Your efforts are not just building businesses but shaping the future of our nation by driving economic growth and providing employment for our people,” she said.

The event, held at the British Council auditorium in Accra, showcased cutting edge safe boxes, including the Istella and the Dbaum fireproof safe boxes, both equipped with ultramodern features to meet diverse consumer needs.

The Dbaum Fireproof Safe Box and Istella were the highlights of the exhibition, demonstrating innovative designs tailored to meet both functional and aesthetic demands.

Chairman of KRIF Ghana, Rev. Kennedy Okosun, emphasised the significance of adopting secure solutions to safeguard valuables, urging Ghanaians to consider the high-security features of their products.

“These safes offer unparalleled protection, with features such as camouflage designs tailored to customer preferences and advanced locking mechanisms. Investing in these safes is not just a purchase but is also a peace of mind," he said.

Celebrating 39 years of excellence

The launch also marked KRIF Ghana’s 39 years of operations, a testament to its resilience and innovation in Ghana's business landscape.

Rev. Okosun acknowledged the company’s contributions to the economy and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting national development through its business initiatives.

“As we celebrate 39 years of serving Ghanaians, we remain committed to introducing innovative products and services that meet the needs of our customers while contributing to the country’s economic growth.”

The event brought together dignitaries from the diplomatic community, business leaders and stakeholders in the private sector.

The partnership between KRIF Ghana and Diplomat Safe of Korea underscores the growing collaboration between Ghana and South Korea, particularly in the areas of trade and innovation.

Private sector employment

With President Mahama’s emphasis on private sector employment, the launch highlights the role of companies such as KRIF Ghana in addressing unemployment challenges while driving economic growth.
