The visit, among other things, is also to enable the delegation to acquaint itself with the operations of SMT Ghana, authorised dealers for  Volvo construction equipment, trucks and buses, according to Mr Pollien.

The visiting delegation toured the premises of both the Accra and Tarkwa branches of SMT Ghana.

SMT Ghana, a subsidiary of the SMT Group, is the official importer of Volvo construction equipment and has 17 branches in 12 countries in West & Central Africa.

Speaking to newsmen, the Managing Director of SMT Ghana, Mr Denis Pylyser, reiterated that SMT Ghana was delighted to represent Volvo, as it was one of the world’s leading manufacturers of quality construction equipment.

He said his outfit had invested a lot to see the growth of such a partnership with the Volvo brand through the establishment of its three branches in Accra, Tarkwa and Kumasi.

He announced that SMT Ghana had also launched a facility which could finance as high as 85 per cent of the total value of trucks and machines.
