When God and business meet
Many businesses the world over survive on Christian principles, but today’s fast-changing world appears to water down the impact of the union between God and business.
This has left many people to question the reason why churches seem to be expanding at every corner, yet corruption, pilferage; thievery and a general breakdown of moral standards appear on the rise in every sphere of society.
Thus, the incorporation of Kingdom Professionals Partners (K2P), a Christian faith-based NGO, to bring together God and business to positively impact the world’s system with the power of God.
Consequently, K2P will be holding what it has named, “Corporate Prayer Parade” tomorrow, September 27, 2014 at the African Regent Hotel, West Airport, Accra, on the theme: “Changing the practice in the market place through Corporate Prayer”.
Personalities such as the Executive Director of Salt & Light Ministries, Dr Joyce Aryee ; the Group CEO of CDH Financial Holdings Ltd,Mr Emmanuel Adu Sarkordie, and the Presiding Bishop of the Victory Bible Church Int, Bishop N. A Tarkie Yarboi, are scheduled to address the gathering which will be attended by Christian professionals, business executives, politicians, as well as other distinguished personalities.
Briefing a section of the media on the event, the President and CEO of K2P, Mr Ben Apeakorang, said, “K2P as an organisation believes in incorporating the doctrines and teachings of Christ in our working life.
The Corporate Prayer Parade will serve as an avenue to empower individuals to positively influence and change the corporate and business worlds, impact their communities through prophetic and revelation knowledge of Jesus Christ,” he said.
He stressed that the gathering would be “a Christian group with one common objective of reconciling business to God.”
While inviting individuals and corporate Ghana to join the Saturday morning event, Mr Apeakorang explained K2P was not a church, cult, secret society, a movement or fellowship and was neither affiliated to any church or political party.
