Zenith Bank ignites spirit of Christmas
Zenith Bank Ghana last Friday performed a lighting ceremony to bring the Yuletide celebration to life in some parts of Accra.
The bank lit up the Big Six roundabout, its median as well as the Zenith Height, its head office, as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative.
It is the fourth edition of the traditional light-up ceremony which seeks to beautify the environment within which the bank operates and spread the spirit of the Christmas season.

The official lighting ceremony was performed by the Managing Director of Zenith Bank Ghana, Mr Akindele Ogunranti, and supported by its executive committee and some staff.
Bank’s achievement
Speaking at the ceremony held in Accra at the Zenith Height, Mr Ogunranti stated that the bank owed its achievements to its customers for their unflinching support and loyalty over the years.
“My colleagues, none of these would have been possible without teamwork. Thank you for your commitment to excellence. While there is still more work to be done, I am confident that we will continue to grow the Zenith brand together,” he said.
He said the ceremony was in line with the vision of the bank’s parent company, Zenith Bank Pic, where it had for the past 15 years lit up the streets in Lagos, Nigeria, during the Yuletide.
Corporate Social Responsibility
That, he said, was aimed at beautifying the environment within which the bank operated and spread the true spirit of the Christmas season.
“I am proud to say that our bold initiative of beautifying most especially the Big Six Roundabout and medians since 2018, as well as the Terminal Three roundabout which we added this year, has been emulated by other corporate bodies and today most parts of the city of Accra have been lit up.

“We are truly proud to be the pacesetters of an initiative that has come to stay. It is in the spirit of Christmas and togetherness that we have gathered here for tonight's ceremony.
“We are hopeful that as the lights on our building brighten our cityscape and bring hope to a world that is gradually returning to normalcy, the New Year will bring with it joy, unending possibilities, progress, better business opportunities and greater achievements for us all,” he said.
