Support government’s COVID-19 fight — Appietus
According to Appietus, the government was doing its best to deal with the virus and Ghanaians could help by obeying instructions rather than flouting the rules and regulations.
“If we stay indoors and protect ourselves by wearing our nose masks, apply the alcohol-based sanitisers, wash our hands under running water with soap, exercise and eat well , we can all help fight the virus together. On the other hand, if we flout the President’s orders and do what we want then we have ourselves to blame,” he told Daily Graphic.

Good initiatives
Appietus said President Akufo- Addo’s approach to dealing with the pandemic was the best adding that he was doing better than other presidents.
“The reason other countries are praising Nana Addo is because he is addressing the issues very well. Three months free water and electricity, not to talk of distributing food is the best thing any president can do for their country. Nana Addo has the country at heart and I respect him for that,” he explained.
Appietus was of the view that people should not blame the President for lifting the lockdown because he knew what was best for Ghanaians.
“I don’t think the President will lift the lockdown for any bad reason. He knows what he has in place for the good people of Ghana. The pressure being mounted on him is not needed now,” he said.
