The Saltpond-born guitarist has been flying high on the international circuit over the last six years and promises a rollicking session as he features for the first time at the Piano Bar.

Ebo Taylor is a wonderful example of what people can do when they are driven by passion. He loves to play music and what is clear at this time is that the world wants to hear what he plays.

An accomplished composer and arranger, Ebo Taylor has written and arranged songs for several top musicians in this country including Jewel Ackah, Paapa Yankson, Gyedu Blay Ambolley and Pat Thomas.

“It is my effective use of Afro-beat and highlife alongside strong jazz elements that rekindled interest in my music throughout the world. In fact, it has been a life-long ambition to help take highlife to greater heights and that’s what I’m doing now,”  Ebo Taylor said in a recent interview.

Taylor's work received massive international attention with the release of his Love and Death album in 2010.  Since then, the man’s career has been on the rise. His Appia Kwa Bridge album released in 2012 also did well on the international scene.

Solomon Okine, proprietor of the Piano Bar, stated that he was happy Taylor agreed to perform at his venue and hoped  many young musicians would turn up to hear and learn something from the great musician.
