The Tema- based artistes released a couple of songs including Chop Money, BƆ Aseɛ  Mami among others before finally breaking through with their Bokoboko song.

On their latest song Bokoboko, recorded by Shottoh Blinqx in Tema and released January this year, Galaxy talks about a particular lady who drives them crazy. On the same danceable song, they advise men to treat their ladies well.

Speaking to Showbiz last Monday, Galaxy who just released two singles, High Agogo and Tweaa said, they are in the studio putting finishing touches to their album which should be out in some weeks.

According to them, not too many musicians cut across the hiplife and the highlife genres but they have been able to do that.

“Since we released our highlife song Wo DƆ Nti, it has had a lot of airplay and our newest Bokoboko is just a “killer” track which goes to testify that Galaxy is versatile. It has not been easy coming this far as underground musicians who had to go to different studios in a struggle to record our songs but we are glad our hard work is now paying off.” The duo said

Galaxy claim their love song Wo DƆ Nti which enjoyed a lot of airplay should have received nomination on the Vodafone Ghana Music Award programme.

“We are disappointed we were not nominated in the VGMA because we really worked hard and Ghanaians can attest to that,” they said.

Galaxy began their music career as friends growing up in the same  neighbourhood. Currently, they are under Harbour City Records in Tema.

Galaxy has had the opportunity to work with hiplife musicians, Guru and Dobble.
