It’s Ur Style from Final Solution

Even during the apartheid days, South Africa has always been a tough terrain for musicians to gain firm footing.

This is because there is an abundance of talents constantly seeking attention and eager to rise to the top.

Despite the tight race for the limelight, a young Ghanaian based in Pretoria, Joseph Kwabena Opoku, also known as Final Solution, is beginning to make waves in the country and beyond.

From Ghana, he relocated to South Africa in 2014 where his initial single, Shake Your Body, failed to fly. Not discouraged by the lack of adequate airplay of his song, Joseph released another single, Search For Love which did just okay.

He still soldiered on and this year, to the surprise of Final Solution, his hard work and determination has paid off with the success of his latest single,Ur Style.

The track has taken the South African club and nightlife scene by storm and it easy to see why. Ur Style is an upbeat, high tempo dance tune that will get anyone moving to the beat.

In the song, Final Solution talks about how much he admires the dance moves of ladies, urging them to shake their lovely bodies even more. He claims in the song that the seductive movement of the dancing ladies is making him fall in love with them.

Final Solution sings and raps in Pidgin English and adds that the girl dancing is so enticing that he is willing to do everything to have a chat with her.

The artiste who hails from Asankrangwa in the Western Region told Showbiz that though he is outside the shores of Ghana, he is proudly flying the nation’s flag high and projecting the country through his music.

“I will never give up till Ghanaian music is played throughout South Africa and accepted by the citizens,” he said.

“This new song is doing well. You hear it everywhere you go and I owe it all to God,” he stated.

He added that though it has been a tough road getting this far, he has managed to survive with pride and asked for the support of Ghanaians to enable him achieve even more in his career.
