Kojo Wadosty sets on positive path with Sista Gal
As Afrobeats and Highlife act, Kojo Wadosty, set out to work on his Sista Gal single released last Friday, May 28, he had his head fully immersed in the principle that people can decide to focus on the negative or embrace the positive at all times.
Produced by Stillvybeznebeatz and out on the NYD Records label, Sista Gal is Wadosty’s message to men in serious relationships to concentrate on their partners and other necessary responsibilities and ditch the side chicks.
Describing the physical thrill of being with that ’other woman’ and the difficulty of abandoning her romantic skills, Wadosky indicates that though we are constantly faced with a dizzying number of realities, people should identify their priorities and make them matter.
Born and raised in Takoradi in the Western Region, Wadosty sings and raps in the style of Fante commonly associated with that area. The artiste says he is a true dyed-in-the-wool ‘Tadi boy’ and is proud of all the wonderful music coming from the metropolis.
The track is a danceable uptempo piece which Wadosty says is for everybody who loves good music and can relate to the positive message in there.

Born Frederick Kojo Donkor, Wadosky started music as a hardcore rapper at Fijai Senior High School. He realised he could do more than just rap and set out to expand his musical horizon.
With his Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA) firmly tucked under his belt, Wadosty now gravitates more toward Afrobeats and Highlife though he has material crafted for other genres.
“I write songs that I trust would impact positively on people. The mission is to motivate people through music. I believe when God gives you the talent to do music, it is to praise Him and also to impact positively on people. So for me, it is positive action all the way,” says Wadosty.

With an ambition to make serious headway in music here, across Africa and beyond, Wadosty’s dream is that music lovers in Ghana would follow and support him like they have done for other big homegrown artistes, as he stays true to his passion to make great positive music for the world.
Sista Gal is available on several digital platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, Boomplay and Amazon.
