Chale Wote takes over James Town

The streets of James Town, a suburb of Accra was filled with revellers, sight seers and art lovers as they throng the community to participate in this year’s Chale Wote Street Arts Festival.

Exhibitors and participants of the event under the theme African Electronics took over James Town which is also known as British Accra rearranging the streets into dynamic exhibition rooms, giving artists space to express and amplify their creative voices. 

On display were works from some prominent Ghanaian artistes and painters included Bright Ackwerh, Benjamin Okantey, Adjo Kisser, Faustina Nsoh and Nana Oforiatta Ayim.
