'Dare To Be' book launched in Accra
SEALINE View, McCarthy Hill in Accra hosted the launch of a book titled Dare To Be authored by the CEO of Stratcomm Africa, Ms Esther Amba Numaba Cobbah on Sunday, June 26.
The book was launched by Maidie Arkutu, former Vice President/ Chairman & Managing Director, Unilever Francophone Africa, and Mawuena Trebarh, former Chief Executive of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre.
Dare To Be celebrates six amazing young Ghanaian female entrepreneurs. It takes the reader through the outstanding entrepreneurial journeys of Kafui Danku (Filmmaker/Actress), Freda Obeng-Ampofo (Kaeme), Emi-Beth Quantson (Kawa Moka Coffee), Nyame-Nhyiraba Awura Abena Agyeman (Wear Ghana Ltd), Aisha Ayensu (Christie Brown) and MzVee (Singer, Afropop, Dancehall and R&B artiste)

Dare To Be which will be out tomorrow, July 1 is about these six outstanding Ghanaian women in the film, fashion, music, cosmetic, and food industries.
In the book, the women share with readers, their experiences, lessons, as well as words of advice for people in similar circumstances.
The compilation of experiences can motivate other women to be their most authentic selves, leveraging their resources, no matter how limited, to the best of their capabilities.
At the launch, each of the women interacted with the audience, delighting and amazing them with first-hand insights about their entrepreneurial experiences. They also autographed copies of the book for those present and took pictures with several of them.
Ms Cobbah, highlighted the authenticity of each of the women in pursuing their dreams, challenges encountered, how they persevered and developed their skills and their faith which kept them going.
She also emphasised the hard work involved for each of them and the struggles they had to go through. She hoped they would be examples to other young women, as well as men, to use resources around them to initiate and sustain enterprises.
