Last year’s Christmas was great for me because all the things I was looking forward to came to pass. I completed Senior High School earlier in the year and gained admission to Midwifery School so my Christmas was really exciting.
There was family reunion and I saw family members that I had not seen in years especially those who live abroad. They all came down for the holidays and brought me loads of things. Frankly speaking, I had a lot of fun with them. We went to a lot of places both within Accra and outside. To say we had a lot of fun will certainly be an understatement. The fact that I had successfully completed Senior High School and gained admission into my dream tertiary institution made me look forward to an exciting Christmas and that is exactly what it turned out to be. I couldn’t have asked for more.

The year 2010 was my most exciting Christmas ever. My dad came from the United States and took me to a lot of places because I am the only boy. I have two sisters.
Of all the places we went to, the ones I enjoyed most were the Kakum National Park where I did the Canopy walk, Lake Bosomtwi in the Ashanti Region and Labadi Beach.
My dad really shopped for me, he brought me a lot of clothes, belts, shoes, wrist watches and perfumes. The icing on the cake was that he bought me a brand new car as my birthday present and I was over the moon. You can imagine how excited I was.
I really had a wonderful time and can never forget Xmas in 2010. Though I have had fun in other years, Christmas 2010 was certainly the best ever so far.

2003 was my best Christmas ever. I completed Junior High School that year and moved to Sunyani to live with one of my brothers. Another brother completed the polytechnic and threw a big party a week to Christmas. It was a very nice party and we all had fun.
My uncle who is a soldier came down from Lebanon and he took us to a lot of places, it was really fun. He also brought us a lot of things and gave each one of us pocket money so we could buy whatever we wanted.
What I have realized is that in 2003, whatever small money you had, you could buy anything you wanted unlike now, making it a better year than now.
Most importantly, my parents were in together in 2003 so I could get whatever I wanted from both of them anytime, making life very easy for me at the time. They are separated now so we the children are scattered now, with each fending for himself, making life very difficult for us at the moment.

I think my most wonderful Christmas was in 2009. I was in school then and my mum was able to provide me with everything I needed and more. Life was easy and very comfortable. I was in the Volta Region then so my Christmas was spent with family and friends.
One thing that made that Christmas really good for me was that I had a lot of presents from my family and friends. They did well to get me the very things that I needed so badly and I will never forget their kind gesture.
If there is one Christmas that was wonderful and one that I will never forget, it will be none other than Christmas 2009.

On December 20, 2008, I got married to my sweetheart and had the most exciting Christmas ever, you can imagine. We had our honeymoon at one of the plush hotels in town. We were treated like royalty at the hotel and had the best services ever.
We made time to attend church services throughout the Christmas period and commited our marriage to the hands of the Lord because He made it possible for our dream to become a reality. We went through so much while dating so we were glad we finally tied the knot.
My husband and I also made time to chill, we went out a lot of times and it was exciting. We also bought each other presents. Don’t forget we already had a lot of presents at our wedding and it was fun opening all of them. It was indeed a wonderful year and the memories of it will remain fresh in my mind.

My most exciting Christmas was in the year 2010. I haven’t had as much fun as I did in Christmas that year. Two of my primary school friends came down from the United Kingdom. I was looking forward to their coming right from the beginning of the year because I had not seen them in ages so their coming for the Christmas holidays meant we were going to have fun and we did just that.
We went for a lot of parties and picnics at various beaches. We also went to lots of exciting places and took a lot of pictures.
I was very happy I made my friends’ stay an enjoyable one and the entire Christmas a wonderful one.

2006 was my most wonderful Christmas. I had good finances and was able to settle all my debts. As a printer, I was not under any stress. I could meet my targets and objectives.
I went out with a lot of friends to a lot of parties and it was great. We hardly slept because it was chilling from morning to evening.
My colleagues and I had a good year, we were able to project into the following year because we had a lot of finances. We were able to project into the first two quarters of the following year.

In the year 2000, I used to work with a company. At the end of the year, we were given lots of goodies and X’mas bonus which made us very happy. The company collapsed and that has made life very difficult for me.
Our boss at the company usually invited all of us to his house on Christmas day for a party and we all had lots to eat and drink. This was usually done every year but the 2000 edition was superb, trust me, it was super!
I wish the company had not collapsed because it was a very good place to work. Our boss really had our welfare at heart. Not many people do that, we enjoyed working for him.
