Delay's wish is to be a househelp for a Ghanaian Minister
Popular TV host, Delay says she wants to be a househelp to a Ghanaian Minister following news of two househelps of Cecilia Abena Dapaah, the Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, allegedly stealing monies and items worth millions of cedis from the couple's residence at Abelemkpe in Accra has set up interesting conversations since yesterday.
While a number of personalities including the former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama have condemned the latest development describing it as scandalous, Deloris Frimpong Manso widely known as Delay says it has increased her interest to be a house help for a Ghanaian Minister.

In a report by Graphic online yesterday, it mentioned that two house helps working for Cecilia Abena Dapaah, the Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, and her husband, Mr. Daniel Osei Kuffour are facing charges at an Accra Circuit Court, for allegedly stealing monies and items worth millions of cedis from the couple's residence at Abelemkpe in Accra.
The accused individuals, 18-year-old Patience Botwe and 30-year-old Sarah Agyei, have been charged with conspiracy to commit a crime and five counts of stealing. The alleged thefts occurred between July and October 2022.
During this period, the house helps allegedly stole personal effects belonging to Madam Cecilia Abena Dapaah, including assorted clothes valued at GH¢95,000, handbags, perfumes, and jewellery worth US$95,000.

The news received mass public condemnation from a number of celebrities including media personality, Nana Aba Anamoah, Serwaa Amihere and Sports journalist, Saddick Adams.
However, in a statement today, July 22, Cecilia Abena Dapaah noted that there were inconsistencies between what is being discussed in the public domain and the thrust of the original complaint on the matter.
“I refer to publications dated 21/07/2023 suggesting that I own one million dollars, three hundred thousand euros and millions of cedis which have been stolen from my house.

“There are noticeable inconsistencies between what is being discussed in the public domain and the thrust of the original complaint on the matter.
“I am taking steps to examine the origins of the inconsistencies and will provide a detailed response in the coming days”, the statement said.
