DStv Ghana offers free package upgrades from October

DStv Ghana will from October 1, 2025, upgrade customers to higher subscription packages at no additional cost as part of its new “We Got You” campaign.

The promotion means subscribers who renew their accounts will automatically be boosted to the next package tier. Customers on the Access bouquet will be moved to Family, Family subscribers to Compact, Compact to Compact Plus, and Compact Plus customers will enjoy full Premium access.

MultiChoice Ghana says the offer is designed to give households more value, with access to a wider range of sports, movies, documentaries, and family content without extra payment.

The Managing Director of MultiChoice Ghana, Alex Okyere, explained that the initiative reinforces the company’s commitment to affordability and customer satisfaction. “At DStv, we're committed to bringing you the best value, through delivering the best of sports, local and international content. Testament to our mission of enriching lives, our We Got You campaign promises to give you top-tier entertainment,” he said.

Subscribers on Compact Plus, for instance, will now be able to watch channels such as M-Net and additional SuperSport feeds, while Compact customers will have access to M-Net Movies 3, DreamWorks, and UEFA Champions League coverage. Those on Family will enjoy channels like Universal TV, BBC Lifestyle, Cartoon Network and SuperSport LaLiga.

DStv has also lined up themed programming across the week, from crime dramas and police procedurals to blockbuster football matches and Latin American telenovelas. Viewers who remain connected between October and December will continue enjoying the free upgrade, though MultiChoice noted the offer is subject to quarterly review.
