Ebo Whyte marks 50 plays with He Said, She Said

SINCE 2008, popular playwright, Ebo Whyte has successfully boost interest in theatre in the country using his quarterly productions.

Play after play in every quater, Uncle Ebo as he is fondly has set the agenda for discussion on pertinent subjects in the society.

So for this quater, Uncle Ebo and his Roverman Productions will mark his 50th production with a new play He said, She Said on Saturday, September 3, at the National Theatre.

He Said, She Said is a story about two young couples namely Mark and Hannah, and Sam and Lucky, who are drowning in their own marital issues.

With their persistent issues threatening the survival of their marriages, they set out to find solution by confiding in themselves about their marital troubles.

But will they find the peace of mind to save each other’s marriage and in the process save theirs? How will both couples use their experiences to encourage the other to survive the storm brewing in their marriage?

While the play finds answers to this, the audience will be taken through how couples must learn not to compare their marriages to others since they could be negatively influenced.

He Said, She Said comes after a long list of other popular plays by Roverman such as What Dad Left Behind, Devil’s Wife, Different Shades of Women”, He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not, Life is Someway, The Day Dad Came, Sins of the Fathers, Trials of the Ghanaian, Don’t Mess with a Woman, Everyone Has a Secret, Apartment N1, What's My Name 2013, Men Run, Women Cry and Last Flight.

Uncle Ebo’s last production, I Slept With Your Wife staged in July had huge patronage and it is expected that He Said, She Said will equally attract a large audience.

Apart from Saturday, He Said, She Said will also show on Sunday, September 4 and an encore on Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11 at 4pm and 8:00pm each day.
