Emelia pushes on with made-in-Ghana campaign
After the recent successful launch of her debut album and Buy Made-In- Ghana campaign, songstress, Emelia Arthur, is back in the studio to record a special song to bolster her crusade.
According to her, what she can do best is sing and that is why she is in the studio again to bring out something that touches specifically on her drive to get more people to patronise what is produced in this country. She said the song features gospel star, OJ.
Emelia Arthur’s slogan for the Buy Made-In- Ghana campaign is ‘Consume What We Produce, Produce What We Consume.’
She took time off from the studio last week to visit and interact with exhibitors at the ongoing made-in-Ghana fair at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra.
The singer told Daily Graphic she was impressed with the passion of certain product makers to bring out the best for the local as well as international markets.
One of the stands she visited belonged to Apostle Kwadjo Safo. Here she had a feel of the cars that the Ghanaian innovator has produced.
“His sense of ingenuity is remarkable and he embodies an attitude of self-reliance that we all need to emulate,” the singer said about Apostle Safo.
