Gospel singer Alice Mckenzie launches foundation to support health care

Ghanaian UK-based gospel musician, Alice McKenzie has launched a foundation to support Ghana’s health care system.

The launch of the foundation which took place at the singer’s residence at Sowutuom in Accra recently aims to among other things also provide health delivery aid in Ghana and to inspire and to empower women and children across the world.

Speaking at the event which had in attendance some popular personalities such gospel singer, Nobel Nketsiah and actress, Emelia Brobbey, Alice said her visits to various health facilities in Ghana brought to fore major challenges across the country and hoped to contribute her quota to better health care delivery with her foundation.

The singer said her mother's passing due to late diagnosis had been a painful reminder of the importance of early detection.

“That's why my foundation is dedicated to raising awareness about the crucial need for timely diagnosis and providing medical equipment to healthcare facilities, so others won't suffer the same fate as my mother,” she said.

Alice McKenzie called on all and sundry to come on board to make a huge impact in the lives of the downtrodden.

She is currently out with a new single titled ‘Beautiful’, a thanksgiving song that expresses her gratitude for what God has done in her life.

Alice McKenzie said she was passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and invited individuals and organisations to join her in this mission to positively impact the lives of the less fortunate.

Currently, Alice is celebrating her blessings with a brand-new single, "Beautiful" to express her gratitude for God's presence and guidance in her life.
