ICGC hosts Ebo Whyte’s Damaged Goods
The Calvary Temple branch of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) at Sakumono is set to host Uncle Ebo White’s popular play, Damaged Goods, on Friday, June 14 as part of the annual week celebration of the 35-44 age group.
Damaged Goods, a production by Roverman Productions, addresses infidelity in marriage and is expected to provide learning points for members of the group who are raising young families.
The play which is based on a real life situation, pitches the heart and mind against each other in perpetual conflict and the outcome is quiet unexpected.

The story revolves around Rev Arkhurst, a popular TV show host who plans to celebrate his ‘perfect’ marriage only to find out that all three children he had nurtured over 17 years were not his.
The couple embarks on a soul-searching journey with the hope of determining whether they can survive the irreparable situation.
In addition to being entertaining, Damaged Goods also carries deep lessons for successful marriages as well as navigating personal and corporate relationships.
It also highlights how each of us may have contributed to creating the devil we see in our partners.
President of the Age Group, Nicholas Amezuku, believes there are useful lessons in the play for members of the group.
“Coming from a Christian background, we believe the show will provide practical lessons to biblical theories”, he told Showbiz.

He urged members of the church and the general public to come watch the show, saying the lessons would help people deal with the difficult life situations that may confront them.
