Award-winning Ghanaian rapper Medikal will thrill students of Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU) this Saturday, July 26, 2025, as he headlines the latest edition of WatsUp On Campus.
The much-anticipated concert, presented by WatsUp TV in collaboration with Betway and other key sponsors, is set to begin at 6 PM and promises an unforgettable evening of music, entertainment, and student engagement.
WatsUp On Campus is a nationwide tour aimed at promoting youth culture, music, and lifestyle through engaging campus-based events. After successful stops in Accra and Ho, the initiative now brings its electrifying experience to Cape Coast.
Medikal, known for his chart-topping tracks such as “Omo Ada,” “La Hustle,” “Stubborn Academy,” and “Confirm,” will take centre stage with a live performance expected to energise and connect deeply with the student audience.
“Medikal’s music resonates deeply with students and young people across the country,” said a spokesperson from WatsUp TV. “We’re excited to bring this experience to CCTU and give students a memorable night of music, culture, and community.”
Alongside Medikal’s performance, the evening will feature top DJs, dance battles, giveaways, social media influencers, and interactive brand activations designed to enhance the student experience.
The concert is powered by Betway and supported by a host of sponsors including Telecel, Gino, Jago Mayonnaise, Club Shandy, Bel Ice, Hifi Filter, Vim Tape, and Palace Mall. Partners Afro Future and YFM are also on board, with event security provided by Eye360 Security.
Organisers say excitement is building across the CCTU campus ahead of the show, with high expectations for one of the most vibrant editions of the tour yet.
With its combination of music, fun, and brand engagement, the WatsUp On Campus concert series continues to be a standout platform for youth expression and entertainment in Ghana’s tertiary institutions.
