MTN Hit-Maker here again

It has served as a platform to unearth new talents in the music industry and after two successful editions have been held, the Season three of the MTN hit-maker show is set to roll.

The music talent hunt which is organised by the telecommunications company, MTN, is expected to be launched next month after the 2013 winner, Koo Ntakara, unveils his maiden album.

 

The MTN Hit-Maker programme was initiated in 2012 to help emerging talents get exposure, learn from experienced industry players and also record their own material.

The first edition was won by Naterial with Miriam as the runner-up. Both artistes have since put out their debut albums and performed at various shows across the country.

“Hit-Maker has so far gone well. It has largely achieved what we set out to do with it and we are sure the third edition will also go well,” the MTN source said.
