Nana Fynn 2lock launches single on August 24
RENOWNED Highlife musician Nana Fynn now known as 2lock is all set for a concert to officially outdoor his new song, Amazing, at Gold Coast Lounge and Restaurant, Accra on Saturday, August 24.
Nana Fynn, real name, Nana Fynn Acquah-Harrison intends to use the upcoming event to transport patrons into his new world of music since he started pursuing Reggae, rebranding and change of name in 2020.

Backed by his dynamic band, Soul Fire Band, Nana Fynn the 2lock will perform his new single as well as well-known Highlife songs such as Romeo and Twe Wo Ho.
Supporting him on the night are Andy Tay and his Kri K3d3k3 band, and Ras Bumba, ensuring an unforgettable night of Reggae music and excitement for patrons.
In a chat with Graphic Showbiz, Nana Fynn the 2lock mentioned that he had been planning the concert since he took the step to do Reggae, noting that it will be an opportunity for his fans and admirers to experience and enjoy his versatile craft.
“It appears the name Nana Fynn is synonymous with Highlife music but I’ve always been a devoted Reggae artiste. I even started doing Reggae music before the likes of Shasha Marley and Rocky Dawuni but as a Pan Africanist, I was naturally drawn to Highlife music
“So I intend to use my forthcoming show to allow people enjoy my Reggae songs I’ve released since 2020 including the new one, Amazing which will be unveiled on the day. The new song promises to deliver a unique blend of soulful lyrics and infectious rhythms, complemented by my vocals,” he said.
Nana Fynn 2Lock noted that he has not completely moved away from Highlife which has given him a strong identity in the music industry but want to pursue Reggae for now.

In 2000, he released his first album ‘Ankwansema’, followed by Odo Handkerchief’ in 2001. This was followed by ‘Dokodoko’ in 2003 with the popular song ‘I do’ and Magic in 2005 with ‘Romeo’ as the well-known song on the album.
