For 10 years, Zen Garden has not only been an ideal place for patrons to relax and socialise, it has become of a good spot for enjoying live band performances.

And as part of its 10th anniversary bash, the management is organising a two day music festival on Friday, November 28-29.

Nigerian singer, Oxlade known for songs such as Want You, Ojuju, Arambambi, and Ghana’s Efya and rapper EL have been billed as headline artistes.

Known for her powerful vocals and emotive performances, Efya is expected to deliver a memorable show, featuring hits like One of Your Own and Best in You.

It's been a while since EL was seen on stage, and fans are eagerly anticipating his return. The rapper, singer, and songwriter is known for his high-energy performances, and he's expected to bring the house down with his unique blend of hip-hop and Afrobeats.

EL's set is likely to feature popular tracks like Kaalu Hip Hop and Sika Man, and fans can expect an unforgettable experience as he takes the stage.

For lovers of authentic live band performances, Kwan Pa, Nkyinkyim and Urban Groove bands will also be on hand to dish out their versions of popular songs.

Other performers on the night are The Gentleman, Big Brain, Tomi Thomas, Nii Musick, Tonye Aganaba and Areness, Flawless.

In a chat with Graphic Showbiz, Isaac Djornorboua, a member of the management team, said that over the past decade, the venue had evolved from a cozy spot tucked away in Labone into a premium destination known particularly for its electrifying live performances.

“Week after week, the venue has hosted an impressive array of bands, singers, instrumentalists, and spoken-word acts, contributing significantly to the renaissance of live music in Accra.

“And we are excited to take it a notch higher with our anniversary bash on Friday and Saturday,” he said.

He said a unique aspect of the venue's contribution to Ghana's cultural scene was its ongoing commitment to promoting local arts and entrepreneurship every other month where Ghanaian artists showcase their works.
