“Looking at the lineup of seasoned comedians who will be performing, I can personally guarantee patrons will experience some of the most memorable and funniest comedy moments.

“Also, I’m happy at the progress of the comedy industry which has moved from the days of ‘Ghanaian comedians are not funny’ with colleagues such as OB Amponsah, Lekzy Decomic and Jacinta filling the National Theatre”, he said.

David Aglah equally pointed out that the latest development was a confirmation of the huge efforts comedians have put into the craft over the years and all of the experience will be evident at Pure Comedy13.

He also noted that although he had plans of hosting Pure Comedy project across the country, the event which has stayed in Kumasi for almost a decade falls in line with Switchline’s goal of making stand-up comedy popular in the region.
