Rex Omar set to release “Highlife Agogo” on A.U. Day
Highlife troubadour, Rex Omar is set to release his second single following his return to the music scene with a tune entitled “Highlife Agogo.”
The release of “Highlife Agogo” on A.U. Day, May 25 is in line with his promise to release a single every month for the next thirty six months.
Rex describes “Highlife Agogo” as a dancefloor filler with a big band feel and a dash of salsa to it. According to him, his choice of a salsa flavour for the tune follows the cosmopolitan influences on highlife which draws heavily on the African vibes of our trans-Atlantic kindred.
