Controversial Ghanaian dancehall musician Shatta Wale has recorded a Snapchat video teaching his son, Majesty how to 'spray cash'.

The act of 'spraying money' originates from Nigeria where people spray spray dancers or special individuals with money during celebrations, delicately placing each individual note on the head of the subject.

In hip-hop culture it is also known as 'making it rain' and involves notes being tossed into the air over an individual in an extravagant manner.

However, It appears on his return to the country, Shatta Wale has chosen a novel way to celebrate the occasion with his son.

In the video (below), Majesty picks up a bundle of GHC 5 note and Wale urges him to throw it in the air.

He then proceeds to shower the boy with the cash amid cheers of "Majesty!' and "Floss it"

Some eagle-eyed social media users also noted a gun was lying on the bed were Majesty was picking the cedi notes from.
