Sika: The new chic on 53
Ghanaian TV presenter, budding actress and lawyer in the making, Sika Osei has been announced as co-presenter of 53Extra.

She joins Nigerian, Eku Edewor to host, 53Extra, the popular Africamagic magazine programme.
Sika was selected after an audition in Lagos and has since been seen on DStv carrying out interviews for Stargist at the Glitz Fashion Week, the Chanel O Music Video Awards in South Africa and co hosting the red carpet for the M-Net Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards Nominee Announcements.
Sika until recently was the host of Phamous TV on Viasat 1. She said that she is humbled and excited about her new job.
“'I feel extremely blessed and privileged to have been chosen to be part of the new co-hosts for 53extra. I pray that just as Anita Erskine and Chris Attoh have opened the door for me, I will do the same for other Ghanaians who dream of being on this platform.
I thank Ghanaians for their support thus far and I'm confident that support will only grow as I set out on this journey to be a good role model and ambassador for the country’ she said.
She also expressed her appreciation to her family, friends and management team, BBnZ Live led by Jay Gyebi for the support and the pieces of advice offered in the direction of her career.
Sika has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Ghana, Legon and a Bachelor of Law degree from GIMPA.
