TGMA Xperience Concert to light up K’dua
THE build-up to the 27th edition of Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) is gathering momentum, and Koforidua is the place to feel the energy as the TGMA Xperience Concert heads to the Eastern Region.
Scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Koforidua Youth Resource Centre Stadium, the event which kicks off at 4pm features a strong lineup of artistes including Stonebwoy, Medikal, Wendy Shay, Piesie Esther, Kasar and Lasmid, alongside other supporting acts.
Known for their energetic stage performances, these artistes are expected to deliver an unforgettable night filled with back-to-back hits and crowd interaction.
The free-admission concert forms part activities leading to edition of the awards night ceremony.
Over the years, the Xperience Concert has grown into one of the most exciting side events of TGMA bringing the awards closer to fans outside Accra while celebrating Ghanaian music in a lively and accessible way.
According to Head of Corporate Communications at Charterhouse, organisers of the event, Robert Klah, the decision to bring the concert to Koforidua is part of efforts to deepen engagement with fans across the country and ensure the TGMA experience is not limited to one city.
“We believe this will present a rare opportunity for some of these residents in the Eastern Region to see some of their favourite musicians perform live on one stage without having to travel to Accra," he told Graphic Showbiz.
Also, the event will be broadcast live on the social media platforms of the Charterhouse to allow audience nationwide to join in the excitement.
TGMA is one of Ghana’s longest-running music award schemes, known for consistently recognising and celebrating talent in the industry.
Other activities planned to mark this year's TGMA include high school tours led by Lynx Entertainment artiste KiDi, workshops and other industry-focused events to build excitement ahead of the main ceremony in May.
