He noted that the industry is currently choked with many talented artistes and it will only take those who are versatile to excel.

In a chat with Graphic Showbiz, he mentioned that times are fast evolving and musicians have to adopt different styles to grow their audience.

“The music industry has been quite competitive in the last few years so sticking to one genre will limit your progress.

“That’s the more reason why Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale who claim to be Dancehall champions are also doing Highlife and other music styles.

“Just some few years ago, Stonebwoy had a hit with Sobolo, a Highlife tune off his Angloga Junction album. At this year’s Ghana Music Awards, Epixode, who is a Reggae/Dancehall artiste walked home with the Best Highlife Song of the Year award with Atia.

“These examples attest to the need for musicians to explore their creativity by being versatile,” he stated.

Formerly known as Kwame Korsah, the artiste made his debut in 2015 with Snapchat and has grown a good following with songs such as Fa Ma Me and Show Something which featured Kofi Mole.

Even though he is a rapper, Korsah has over the years created R&B, Afrotrap, Drill, Afropop tunes.

Presently, he is promoting his latest song, Daily Bread which dropped on Friday, July 21.

Signed on to US-based record label 610Music, Korsah told Graphic Showbiz he draws his inspiration from American rappers Lil Wayne and Young Thug.

Also, the likes of Micheal Jackson, Akon, and Ghana’s Daddy Lumba have had great influences on his music career.

He is very positive that Daily Bread will shoot up his visibility in the music space after songs such as Snap Chat, Fa Ma Me, Hold On, Feed Me, Show Something, Ahh!, I Did It, Someone and  Free Me.
