“Where are Paintsil and Afena-Gyan?” — Kofi Kinaata reacts to Black Stars list
Ghanaian musician Kofi Kinaata has expressed disappointment over the omission of some key players from the Ghana national football team squad for the upcoming international friendly against Wales.
Reacting to the recently announced 28-man squad, the singer said the team list feels incomplete without players such as Joseph Paintsil, Felix Afena-Gyan and Derrick Köhn.
Sharing his thoughts on X, formerly Twitter, Kofi Kinaata hinted that he believes the current squad may not be the final one.
“I’m not sure this is the final list, though 90% of them will make it.. waiting for the final list with Paintsil, Afena Gyan & Kohn. Medaase!”

Many supporters have questioned the exclusion of some in-form players ahead of the international assignment.
