Why I fear Castro is dead – Mzbel
Top hip-life musician, Mzbel, has opened up on why she feels musician Castro, when went missing last year, is dead.
Speaking on Saturday Live with Citi FM’ Kwadwo Akoto-Boateng in Accra, Saturday, Mzbel, whose real name is Nana Ekua Amoah, said she had a disturbing dream a few days after Castro went missing.
Mzbel said she saw Castro in her dream smiling at her, adding: “I tried to touch him, but I couldn’t.”
The musician said no matter how much she tried, she could not touch him.
According to her, when one dreams of someone who has gone missing and cannot touch them in the dream, it is a sign that the person is dead.
Mzbel and Castro collaborated on several songs and were even rumoured to be in a romantic relationship.
She admitted to host Akoto-Boateng that her relationship with Castro extended beyond professional at a point, adding that she had missed the musician.
Castro, whose real name is Theophilus Tagoe, went missing at Ada in Accra on July 6, 2014.
The hip-life star is feared drowned in the Volta Lake where he went on a weekend getaway with Black Stars striker, Asamoah Gyan.
Castro and his female friend, Janet Bandu, were said to have taken a ski boat out on a cruise on the Volta River but did not return.
Efforts to locate and rescue them were futile.
