A leader notices God’s blessing whilst waiting for his season

A leader knows that the blessings he desires will not come overnight.

He is prepared to stay at it until the breakthrough and promotion arrive. If you cannot wait for your God-given promotion, you are not a leader.

I have had to wait many years for many things to happen.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Psalm 1:3

All of God’s blessings have their season.

Church growth has a season! Promotion has a season! Personal prosperity has a season! Breaking forth has a season! Significance has a season!

If you cannot wait for the mangoes on your tree to ripen, you are never going to enjoy them.

You will always pluck them off before they arrive.

Mind you, unripe mangoes are very different from ripe ones.

I know of a pastor who bought a very expensive car.

For several months, he had to use the entire income of the church to pay off the debt.

This caused ripples in the church. Funds were raised in a desperate attempt to pay for this expensive car. In the end, a blessing turned into a controversy.

Wait for your season!

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also, he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. Ecclesiastes 3:1,11

While you wait, notice god’s blessings around you!

But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the Lord had shut up her womb.

Then said Elkanah, her husband, to her, Hannah, Why weepest thou?

And why eatest thou not? And why is thy heart grieved?

Am I not better to thee than ten sons? 1 Samuel 1:5, 8

I am sure you are familiar with the story of Hannah in the bible. Hannah’s husband really loved her.

Portion

The Bible tells us how he gave a worthy portion to her and describes his deep love for her. But Hannah did not notice her husband’s love.

Her attention was rather captured by her unfortunate circumstances. Her focus was on her deficiency.

She was so captivated by the negative things in her life that it was as though she had nothing positive in her life.

Hannah wept and wept and did not notice that she had a good husband.

Learn to see beyond your problems. Dear leader, go on a campaign to notice the many great things you are blessed with.

Some people are so taken up with the problems that they cannot see the goodness of God around them.

Perhaps there is one fault with your husband. Do not be so taken up with that fault that you don’t see how God has blessed you.

The grass always seems to be greener on the other side, but is it really?

At one point, Hannah’s husband asked her, “Am I not worth more than ten sons to you?”

Perhaps your difficulties have blinded your eyes to the blessings of God.

Please do not allow a dark cloud to brood over everything because of the one problem that you have.

Then said Elkanah, her husband, to her, Hannah, Why weepest thou?

And why eatest thou not?

And why is thy heart grieved? Am I not better to thee than ten sons? 1 Samuel 1:8

Hannah was so disturbed that she could not be satisfied with the fact that she had a good husband.

She could not notice that her husband was very generous and kind.

Hannah did not think of the fact that even if she had children, they would grow up and leave the home one day.

Then she would be all alone with her husband again. Make a conscious effort to notice and count your blessings!

Allow God to draw you deeper into the things of the Spirit.

Through your problems, you will get to know God better.

Indeed, all things will work out for your good.

Dear leader, there is a breakthrough waiting for you.

Go beyond your emotions and become a spiritual person and you will be amazed at the fruit your spirituality will bear.

In his time, God makes all things beautiful.

Do you want things to be beautiful?

Are you ready to wait for the right time and season?

Are you a leader?

Then never forget that a leader is someone who is prepared to wait for his season.

Wait for your season, and you will be rewarded beautifully!
