Bring back July 1 holiday

I wish to urge the government to bring back the Republic Day holiday, which was scrapped by the past administration.

This day miraculously falls exactly mid-year.

By then, many are exhausted and stressed after the first half of the year and welcome any opportunity to relax. 

It also provides an avenue to relieve stress and gear up for the second half of the year.

As a tour operator, I have been organising trips for various large groups, including business, educational, religious, and social, across the country, which enhances internal tourism, among others, on this particular day.

Would it not be prudent to keep this day, as it is, for individual and national benefits? Tourism Minister, over to you.
