The truth should be said
The legendary Israeli Prime Minister, Mrs Golda Meir, once said: “Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us Israelis.” It’s been 40 years since Golda Meir passed away and peace has not yet arrived.
If we are eager to understand the reason for the absence of peace, then we should get to know the truth behind the false narrative of the Palestinian people.
The Palestinians were defined as a people only in 1964, when Chairman Yasser Arafat established the Palestinian Liberation Organisation (PLO). According to their charter, a Palestinian is someone who was in the land of Palestine till 1947 (except, of course, if he belongs to the Jewish population at that time. Jews can be recognised as “Palestinians” only if their families lived in “Palestine” before the “Zionist” invasion).

The Palestinians understand that Jews have a historical ancient right over the Holy Land. Therefore, they are trying to claim that they are the descendants of the Canaanites who were in the Holy Land before the sons of Israel. This is a completely fabricated claim.
There is no possible linkage between the Canaanites and today's Palestinians. There are no archeological remains or cultural traditional heritage that can prove it, nor linguistic or historical ties. The Palestinians are the descendants of the Arab occupation over the Holy Land (638 AD).
Most of them followed the prosperity that was brought to that desolated land by the Jewish Zionist movement. It should be clarified that the land that we Israelis call “The land of Israel” is the same land that the Palestinians named as “Palestine”. The difference is that even the name “Palestine” is part of the invented narrative of the Palestinians.
The origin of the name “Palestine” dates back to the Roman suppression of the Jewish revolt in 135 AD. The Romans tried to exterminate any Jewish remnant from the land of Israel; therefore, they changed the name of the province Judea to “Syria Palestrina” and the name of Jerusalem into “Elia Capitolina”.
The Palestinians’ claim against the Jewish occupation over the land of Israel since 1948 is a total distortion of history. That argument is brutally disrespecting UN Resolution 181: The Partition Resolution of November 29, 1947, which was decided to end the British mandate and to establish two states: a Jewish state and an Arab one.
At that time, the Palestinians were not yet crystallised as a people; therefore, the resolution could not mention them as beneficiaries of the British mandate. The truth behind this claim is that they are rejecting Israel's right to exist. The Six — Day War (1967) was imposed on Israel by four Arab countries that attacked her from all fronts. Israel won this war with God’s grace, and some territories were transferred to her control. The long painful conflict between the Palestinians and Israel is not about territories. It’s about the Palestinians’ recognition of the state of Israel and about their acceptance of the two-state solution.

The latest unfortunate actions of the Palestinians at the Gaza border are a means to destroy the border between the Palestinian territory and Israel. It should be emphasised that Gaza is not an occupied territory. The Gaza strip has been in the hands of the Palestinians since 2005. Israel left Gaza more than a decade ago!
The world has invested in Gaza tens of billions of dollars in order to rebuild it. The Palestinians in Gaza, led by Hamas, are using the funds they receive to shoot countless missiles over Israel. They are digging vicious tunnels that are being used to carry out terrorist attacks into Israeli civilian population. They are burning farm fields by sending burning kites. In the last month, they have used a lot of violence to penetrate the border fence and penetrate Israel.
More than 100 explosives were placed in the last few weeks on the border fence. There are no moral borders in their way. They send women and children to the fence as human shield. They take advantage of their own people to perpetuate their terrorist acts.
Israel has every right to defend its borders and to protect its citizens from the Palestinian terror. Israel is taking all measures to reduce the number of casualties. On Sunday, May 13 this year, 40,000 people arrived to sabotage the fence. During this confrontation with the Israeli defence force, 55 people were killed. They were not innocent civilians as the Palestinians have tried to present. The Hamas terror organisation itself has confirmed that 50 of the casualties were its members.
The Palestinians are illustrating a severe hunger in Gaza. Pictures from Gaza's markets show the opposite. They claim that they do not have energy sources, but they burned the fuel pipelines in Kerem Shalom (May 11, 2018); those that are being used to transport fuel and gas for the benefit of Gaza's residents.

The Palestinian narrative is a fake one from the beginning to the end. If the Palestinians will use their resources for constructive purposes and not for destructive ones, peace will come soon for the welfare of all!
