Great schools; Made by heads with passion for learning, moral values
Parents would naturally like their children to go to the great or leading schools of the country. Many go to unusual lengths and unfortunately some use corrupt means to achieve this goal. And why do they do this?
Simply put, it is to give their children a good start in life.

They want them to acquire learning and grace to enter or remain in the higher echelons of society.
There is nothing wrong with wanting the best for one's children. In fact, it is the sacrifice of parents for the best for their children which promotes national progress.
But what are great or leading schools? How did they evolve? And how can we create more of them? Unfortunately in Ghana we do not confront these questions effectively.
If our children do not go to those schools we do not care if their standards fall. In fact, many in key positions would rather promote uniform mediocrity than raise standards to that of the great schools.
