NDC rejects re-collated election results, accuses EC of manipulation
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has rejected the re-collated election results, accusing the Electoral Commission (EC) of manipulating the process.
The party claims that the results were declared under dubious and unlawful circumstances, describing them as a "blatant assault" on Ghana’s democratic principles and a betrayal of the people’s sovereign will.

A statement signed by the NDC General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, accused the Electoral Commission (EC), led by Jean Adukwei Mensa, of actions that undermine the integrity of Ghana’s electoral process.

The NDC further alleged that the EC's conduct has eroded its mandate and worsened public distrust in the institution.
The statement also expressed concerns over an alleged "unholy alliance" between the EC, the police, and the military, which the party claimed enabled the manipulation of election results to favor the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The NDC further criticized the EC for ignoring a court-issued Stay of Execution order, describing it as a clear violation of the rule of law.
“The NDC will continue to mobilize its supporters and rally Ghanaians to resist any attempt to overturn the people’s mandate. Together, we will protect the principles of democracy and secure a brighter future for our nation,” the statement added.
