There has been no final decision on the future use of the land, which had been earmarked for the National Cathedral project, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Minister for Government Communication, has said.

Tema: Police kill 3 suspected robbers in shoot out
The police have killed three suspected armed robbers in Tema. It followed a police patrol team's response to a distress call, which reportedly led to a confrontation with the suspects, leading to anexchange of gunfire.
The police in a statement said personnel from the Tema Regional Police Command on July 21, 2025, responded to a distress call regarding armed men numbering about ten breaking into a warehouse at the Tema Industrial Area.
