‘Amazing Child’ final show on Sunday
After 10 weeks of exciting performances from 19 amazing children on TV Africa’s 2013 Amazing Child talent show, 10 of them have made it to the grand finale to be held on Sunday, January 12 at the National Theatre.
The main focus of the Amazing Child reality show is to shape the talents of our young ones towards the projection of African values.

Theme for the 2013 edition was Let’s Celebrate Our Own in commemoration of TV Africa’s 10 years of existence.
The finalists for the 2:00pm programme are Setromey Quarshie, Akosua Ameyaw, Akwetey Adotei, Double Do, Nana Efya Frimpomaa, Maafia Obour, Abena Osei Korankye, Abena Pokua Boateng, Larteley Larkai and JA Dancers.
“It became necessary for TV Africa to roll Amazing Child following the realization that most young people had misdirected their creativity towards copying foreign values and culture and neglecting our indigenous art forms,” said a TV Africa official.
Guest performers expected to bring extra sparkle to the show include Kobby Rana, Grace Ashy, Gifty Osei and Akosua Adjapong as well as the J. Glory Dancers and Adjoa Arthur, winners of last year’s competition.
Dignitaries to grace the occasion are Nana Oye Lithur, Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection and Dzifa Gomashie- Ahiaglo, Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts.
