Junior Graphic Vacation Promo begins

The Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL), publishers of the Junior Graphic, in its bid to engage and entertain children during the school vacation, has started a puzzle competition for schoolchildren.

The vacation competition, which will run every week in the Junior Graphic until school reopens, according to the Adverts and Promotions Manager of the company, Mr Dodzi Anador, is also meant to inculcate the spirit of patriotism in children by specially designing puzzles to achieve that aim.

Mr Anador explained that to participate in the promotion, children would have to buy copies of the paper, solve the puzzle for the week, cut the coupons, attach their contact addresses and send them to any of the offices of the GCGL in all the regions or mail them  to the company.

He said each week, there would be a draw of entries with the highest scores and three winners would be selected from each of the six zones that the promotion had been categorised into, making a total of 18 winners weekly.

The zones are: Accra; Tema; Eastern and Volta regions; Central and Western regions; Brong Ahafo and Ashanti regions and the Northern, Upper East and Upper West regions.

Each of the winners would receive Junior Graphic souvenirs.

He added that at the end of the promotion, another draw would be held for those who submitted the highest number of entries each week and had all the answers correct. The winners of this draw will receive mobile phones.

He urged all children to look out for more promotions in the Junior Graphic every vacation and added that they should continue to read the paper to improve on their vocabulary and excel in their schoolwork.
