Is it healthy to drink anointing oil?

Different types of oil are used for deliverance purposes in churches the world over. The commonest is olive oil. This oil is packaged in bottles for sale.

It is either used in those bottles during deliverance and prayer sessions or poured into bowls from which religious practitioners apply them on recipients of anointing. 

Applying the oil on people’s forehead may not attract much safety concerns but one needs to be worried about drinking of anointing oil. 

In the first place drinking oil is not a healthy thing to do. That oil being used on so many people might be so dirty; possibly mixed with sweat and other stuff from the people it has been used on. 

Pastors often do not wash their hands before moving onto the next person during such sessions. They themselves can transmit contaminants through the oil, just be careful.

Skipping supper, is it good or bad?

It is not good to skip supper or any other meal of the day. You will normally deny the body of energy and nutrients if you skip meals. 

Skipping supper leaves too many hours between your last meal and the next one; that is your lunch and the following day’s breakfast. Your glucose stores will be depleted along the line and your brain may struggle to get its energy.

This often encourages energy production from fat and other molecules. These lead to increasing blood cholesterol levels as well so be careful. 

There is also a reduction in the rate at which the body uses food if you are fond of skipping meals. The net effect is weight gain because the body gets the opportunity to store part of the food you eat as fat in the body. 

It is best to eat early supper and be free. If you are late, then eat something that will not give you too much energy.

Is red wine ok?

Red wine contains alcohol which is not good for anybody. Red wine also contains resveratrol, a colouring agent which acts as an antioxidant; that is a good thing.

At the same time that the antioxidant is working to protect your heart, the alcohol in the wine is also working to destroy your heart and other cells, tissues and organs of your body.

There are so many diseases that alcohol can cause from hair-to-toe. It will be better if you try and get the antioxidants from foods such as carrots, tomato, and other coloured vegetables than relying on alcohol for them. 

Some studies have suggested the consumption of a little alcohol daily for heart health. 

They often restrict men to two drinks a day and women to a drink a day but one thing about alcohol is that you take in a little and you want to take more. In the end, you will be take too much which will destroy you. 

Just abstain and be free.  

What is the best way of cooking stews?

Do not start cooking stew with oil, rather end the process with the oil. First blend or chop your tomato. Boil the tomato in water till it is well cooked. You can then add the vegetables you like. Add your fish and all other ingredients.

The oil should be the last to go into the stew. After adding the oil, do not keep the stew on fire for long again, take it off the fire soon after adding the oil. 

The reason why it is best to cook stew this way is simply to help avoid eating of overheated oils. 

When oil is kept on fire for a long time, the heat causes notable changes that make it bad. Plants source oils are made to assume qualities of animal source oils. 

We all know that oils or fats from animal foods cause cholesterol to increase.

They also cause heart diseases. It is therefore very bad to overheat the plant source oils, forcing them to behave like the animal source oils.
