Wassa East: Man appeals for financial support after wife delivered quadruplets
A man in the Wassa East District in the Western Region is appealing for urgent financial assistance after his wife delivered quadruplets.
He explained that medical scans initially indicated a triplet pregnancy, but doctors delivered four babies through a Caesarean section.
The newborns are currently in incubators, resulting in rising and unforeseen medical expenses.
Overwhelmed by the financial strain, the father has called on the public and the government for support, warning that without immediate assistance, he may be forced to abandon his wife and the babies.
In a video shared on X, he said: “Earlier scans showed that my wife was expecting three babies, but when she went into labor, the doctor performed a Caesarean section and, surprisingly, four babies were delivered. All of them are in incubators, so I am appealing to philanthropists, individuals, and especially the government to come to our aid."
"I also call on the Wassa East Member of Parliament, Isaac Adjei-Mensah, to support us. We have exhausted all our funds, and if help does not come soon, I fear I may be forced to leave my wife and the children,” he added.
