Decisive couples have the happiest marriages

A new study shows that being super chill about everything won't make you and your partner happy.

Researchers at the University of Denver found that decisive couples tend to be happier.
"Couples who slide through their relationship transitions have poorer marital quality than those who make intentional decisions about major milestones," Dr. Galena K. Rhodes says in the study. Too many couples drift through the relationship and just follow the inertia of dating progression, like two people moving in together just because one person couldn't renew the lease on their apartment. Instead, the study suggests, couples should talk about why they're moving in and what they want to get out of it in advance.
